Viola F. “Franny” Blankenship, 81, of Dallastown passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. She was the wife of Bradford J. Blankenship to whom she was married 57 years. Born in Renick, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and Edna (Tharp) Hambrick. Viola enjoyed cooking, puzzles and was a very caring and loving person. She was a member of The Lighted Pathway Baptist Church in Parkton, MD and was a loving mother and grandmother and spending time with her family was the most important thing to her. In addition to her husband Bradford, she is survived by four children Priscilla S. Windon and husband Eric, Bradford J. Blankenship, II, Betty Jean Martin and Sandy Gail Smith; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; 10 siblings Lillie Harrah and husband Walter, Irene Winkler, Dorothy Grizzel, Gillie Hambrick, Bernice Tincher and husband Richard, Roger Hambrick and wife Ellen, Roy Hambrick and wife Quanitta, Jack Hambrick, Delbert Hambrick and Okey Hambrick. Viola was preceded in death by three siblings Robert Hambrick, Kathy Hambrick and Joseph Hambrick. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11AM from Prospect United Methodist Cemetery, 8 Orchard Rd. New Park, PA 17352 with Pastor Clark Hollingshead officiating.
