Wayne Donald Deshong

Wayne Donald DeShong, 75, of Stewartstown, passed from this life on Monday, December 25, 2023. Born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Donald and Velda (Shore) DeShong and the husband of Sandra (Black) DeShong. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a painter with York Heating & Air Conditioning, retiring in 2023 after 51 years of service. Wayne moved to York in 1972 and had over 30 years of service with Eureka Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Company as a Fireman, EMT, and Assistant Chief. He also was an ordained minister. Wayne will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Anthony DeShong, Robert DeShong, and Timothy DeShong; 2 grandchildren, Victoria DeShong and Abigail Wahl; and 4 siblings, Doris DeShong, Pam DeShong, Roger DeShong and wife, Diane, and Randy DeShong.
