Wayne William Wolff

Wayne William Wolff, 71, of New Freedom passed away Monday, September 4, 2023. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Clarence and Francis (Pritz) Wolff. Wayne was the beloved husband to Denise (White) for 22 years.

Wayne was very passionate about the Civil War, and enjoyed participating in reenactments, which took place all over the country, and even as far as England. He was an avid world traveler, hunter, farmer, and he was always working. He was a jack-of-all-trades and loved to help others. Wayne was a history buff, and enjoyed antiques, auctions, and yard sales. He was a devoted husband and father. After his retirement, Wayne took on jobs as a substitute teacher, where his students affectionately referred to him as the Lorax, due to his mustache.

In addition to his wife, Denise, Wayne is survived by 2 children, Christine Wolff and Melanie Arnold (Lance); 2 step-children, Philip Wiener (Chasity) and Jason Wiener; 5 grandchildren, Haleigh Wiener, Delaney Wiener, Kendall Arnold, Ashley Arnold, and Lance Arnold, Jr.; 2 siblings, Howard Wolff (Dorothy), and Gregory Wolff; along with many nieces and nephews.

A public viewing will be held Friday, September 8 from 5-7pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, 19 S. Main St, Stewartstown, PA 17363. Memorial service and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
