William J. Guerin

SGT William J. Guerin, Jr., 90, of York, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020. He was the husband of the late Virginia L. (Pace) Guerin. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William J. Guerin and Sarah Margaret (Murphy) Guerin. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and 3 sisters. William was a Sergeant in the United States Army, serving for three years during the Korean War. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Baltimore. William retired from the Social Security Administration in 1985, after many years of service. He later moved from Florida to Pennsylvania in 2007. He is survived by his sister Patricia A. Busky and his brother Denis M. Guerin, both of Shrewsbury; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be scheduled at a later date.
