William Vinson Ibex

William Vinson Ibex, 81, died on Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was the husband of Margaret L. Ibex for 25 years. Born in Grasonville, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph and Romaine (Keck) Ibex. William worked at Baltimore County Schools as a grounds man for many years and at a Union Meat Company in Maryland. He was an avid square dancer for over 20 years and past president of the Maryland Square Dance Association. He loved deer hunting and enjoyed looking at old cars. In addition to Margaret, he is survived by 3 brothers Frank, Bob and Joe Ibex and friend Kathy Prickett. He was preceded in death by his two siblings Margaret and Elizabeth. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00am - 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St. New Freedom, PA 17349 followed by a memorial service beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Becker officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
