William G. Kerns

William G. Kerns, Jr., 71, of Stewartstown passed away January 28, 2022. He was the loving husband of Jean (Willcox) Kerns of Stewartstown sharing 49 years of marriage. Born August 14, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Rosalind (Dulaney) Kerns. William retired from Baltimore County as an Inspector. He was a member of Grace Church Shrewsbury; he also belonged to Stewartstown American Legion, Post 455, Stewartstown VFW, Post 7046 and Hopewell Fish and Game Association. In addition to his wife, Jean and mother, Rosalind; William is survived by 2 children Brandi L. Cummings and husband Gene, and William G. Kerns, III; 4 grandchildren Ryan Wilcox, Dylan Wilcox, Austin Wilcox, and Justin Cummings; 2 great granddaughters Lacy Wilcox and Olivia Jean Wilcox. Viewings will be held Wednesday, February 2nd, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 3rd beginning at 3:00 PM at Stewartstown Cemetery.
