Annette L. Long

Annette L. Long, 83, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Born and raised in Hereford, MD, she was the daughter to the late Stanley F. and Jessie (Bull) Long.

Annette graduated from Hereford High School, eventually becoming the secretary there and later at Cockeysville School District. Annette was very passionate about Native Indian culture, even making her own tribal clothing. She frequently visited Camp Puh’Tok. She also enjoyed learning about the Southwest. Annette loved her country home oasis and watching nature. She was very self-reflective, a quiet soul. While she enjoyed time alone, and was also kind, helpful, and loving to anyone who needed it. She was an excellent friend and confidante, who will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives were enriched by knowing her. Annette was at peace with her Lord and Savior.

Annette is survived by long-time friend and housemate Dina Bull, and family; niece-in-law Michelle Winemiller, nephew-in-law Bill Dobson; great nephew Josh Winemiller (wife, Samantha), and great niece Patricia Dobson. She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Winemiller and her parents.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 28 at 1pm, at the First Baptist Cemetery of Hereford, in Parkton, MD.
