Florence Pauline (Nace) Myers

Florence Pauline (Nace) Myers, 91, formerly of Stewartstown, PA, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2024. Born on January 22, 1933 in N. Codorus Twp., York County, PA, she was a daughter to the late John A. and Charlotte P. (Rishel) Nace. She was the loving wife of 50 years to the late D. Leroy “Roy” Myers who passed in 2001.

Florence worked at the former Hungerford Packing Company for 12 years and at the former AMP/Tyco for 29 years, retiring in 1995 from the Loganville plant.  She was a member of Christ U.C.C. in Jefferson and a member of Stewartstown Senior Center. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, and working in her flower garden.

Florence is survived by her two children Gary L. Myers (Cindy) and Linda Sue Kidman (Randy); seven grandchildren Nathan, Andrea (Jerry), Jaimee (Mark), Jennifer, Jared, Rachel (Ben), and Elysa (Ricky); and seven great grandchildren; three brothers Raymond, John, and Ralph Nace; two sisters Verna Bankert and Ruth Ann Stremmel; many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers Melvin, Harry, Charles, and Edward Nace, and four sisters Thelma Gordon, Edith Brenneman, Helen Sharp, Erma Keiser, and twin stillborn sisters.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 -12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Lou Ann Jones officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
